Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy explains how Mibuki Inbox Agent handles information when its owner connects a Google account. The app is a private productivity tool and does not offer public account registration.

2. Google user data accessed

The app requests the Gmail read-only scope. It can view email messages, threads, labels, and the Gmail settings necessary to synchronize new messages. It cannot send, edit, move, or delete email.

3. How data is used

Gmail data is used only to:

• identify new messages that may require a response;
• associate a message with a configured project repository;
• prepare a suggested reply using relevant repository context;
• present the message and draft to the owner for manual review.

The app never sends a reply automatically. The owner must copy the draft into Gmail and send it manually.

4. Processing and sharing

Message content and selected repository context may be processed by OpenAI's Codex service to generate a draft. When repository archiving is enabled, message content may also be stored in a repository hosted by GitHub. Google provides Gmail API access and push notifications. Data is not sold or used for advertising.

5. Storage and security

OAuth credentials and synchronized working data are stored on the owner's controlled machine. Credentials are excluded from source control. Access is limited to the minimum Gmail read-only scope.

6. Retention and deletion

Local synchronized data is retained until the owner removes it. Repository archives follow the retention and access rules of the configured repository. The owner can revoke Google access at any time from Google Account settings and can delete local stored data.

7. Limited use

Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
